The STA attended a successful roundtable discussion in Albany on May 2 with the Assembly Government Operations Committee regarding contractor/subcontractor payment issues. Also in attendance with the STA were NYECA (New York Electrical Contractors Association) representatives Steve Gianotti and Peter Rescigno.

Working in close consultation with the STA and NYECA, the Assembly Government Operations Committee invited over 20 different trade associations, state agencies and public entities to participate in the roundtable. Several dozen attendees took turns addressing the issues. Many largely agreed that there is much room for improvement in the process, and provided opinions on how to do so.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_section” bg_position=”left top”][vc_column width=”1/1″][minti_divider margin=”0″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
